ICDE 2026 Conference Contributions

The 42nd IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE) is scheduled to occur from May 4 to 8, 2026, in Montréal, Canada. As one of the distinguished conferences in the field of data and information engineering, ICDE serves as a premier forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to investigate cutting-edge concepts and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences pertinent to the design, development, management, and evaluation of advanced data-intensive systems and applications.

This year, BIFOLD is represented by two research groups: the DIMA group, led by Prof. Dr. Volker Markl, and the D2IP group, led by Prof. Dr. Ziawasch Abedjan. Volker Markl will contribute a keynote address at the main conference, and Ziawasch Abedjan will deliver a keynote at a co-located workshop. Furthermore, two research papers will be presented, and a tutorial will be organized at the conference. In addition to these contributions, BIFOLD researchers Luca Zecchini and Steffen Zeuch serve on the conference's Program Committee.
