Jan Gerken is a member of the machine learning group at Technical University of Berlin. He obtained his PhD in string theory from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in 2020. Before he joined BIFOLD in 2022, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department for Mathematical Sciences at Chalmers in Gothenburg / Sweden
