BIFOLD-affiliated research spans segmentation to surgical vision at MICCAI 2026
The Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI) Society is hosting the 29th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI 2026). This event brings together experts in medical image computing, machine learning for medical imaging, and computer-assisted interventions and robotics. The conference will take place from September 27 to October 1, 2026, in Strasbourg, France. At the conference, two posters and two workshop papers co-authored by BIFOLD researchers will be presented.
In addition, a paper co-authored by BIFOLD Fellow Anja Hennemuth has been nominated for the Best Paper Award of the Medical Image Analysis special issue on MICCAI 2025. The special issue features extended versions of award-winning and award-shortlisted papers from the MICCAI 2025 conference. The nominated paper, “Multifrequency Neural Network-based Wave Inversion in MR Elastography with Uncertainty Quantification,” was authored by Héloïse Bustin, Tom Meyer, Jakob Jordan, Lars Walczak, Heiko Tzschätzsch, Ingolf Sack, and Anja Hennemuth.
