Pushing the Boundaries of Medical Innovation
Joint Workshop by Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin & BIFOLD
Join us for this two-day scientific workshop in Berlin (November 24. & 25.th, 2025) dedicated to exploring the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. This interdisciplinary event brings together leading minds from both the medical and computer science communities to share insights, spark collaborations, and shape the future of healthcare. The conference will feature talks by leading researchers from academia and industry who will present their pioneering work at the intersection of medicine and AI. The program will comprise in-depth keynotes, concise impulse talks on emerging topics, and dynamic networking formats designed to foster meaningful exchange and partnerships. Whether you're already working at the intersection of AI and medicine or seeking to initiate new collaborations, this summit offers a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and co-create. Join us as we bridge disciplines and push the boundaries of what’s possible in medical innovation.
The focus of the workshop will be on AI-driven approaches in the context of both basic medical research and clinical practice. Topics will include but are not limited to:
- Using AI models to better understand gene regulation and the dynamics of complex diseases
- AI-driven approaches that leverage multimodal data to optimize clinical practice
- Efficient medical information retrieval through large language models
- Explainable AI techniques to foster transparency and intervenability in medical workflows
Date: November 24th & 25th, 2025
Time: 9:30 am - 5:00pm
Location: CCM, Charité - Universitätsmedizin, Invalidenstraße 120/121, Berlin
Registration: The workshop is free of charge and open for interested scientists. Registration will start soon. In case you want to be informed, when registration opens, please send an email to katharina.jung@tu-berlin.de
