I am a PhD student at the Intelligent Biomedical Sensing (IBS) Lab with a strong focus on electrical engineering and biomedical hardware development. I earned a master's degree in electrical engineering, where I developed an SiPM-based light detection circuit for use in functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). During my studies I was working part time as an electronics developer for a medical startup in Berlin.
My research interests center on the integration of machine learning with biomedical hardware development and advancing medical technologies through hands-on, innovative approaches. I am currently developing a novel SiPM-based fNIRS system architecture.
