Alejandro is a PhD student in the DIMA group at Technische Universität Berlin. He recently moved from Colombia to Germany with his family. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technologies for Business Intelligence from TU Berlin and ULB.
Before starting his PhD, he co-founded an agri-tech startup where he served as CTO and COO, leading the development of a SaaS platform that reached over 2,000 paying users within two years.
His PhD is motivated by a desire to deepen his understanding of emerging technologies and to focus on a specific research area, as well as to pursue his interest in teaching.
