This workshop in Berlin’s newest AI square brings together young researchers and practitioners from academia and industry in Berlin and Brandenburg to explore how these technologies can be developed and applied for social good.

From tackling misinformation and bias to improving healthcare access, supporting diverse (sign) languages, advancing education, and promoting transparency in AI systems, our discussions will address both the opportunities and the responsibilities of our field. The program will feature keynotes, poster presentations, an interactive panel session, and networking opportunities designed to connect (PhD) students and industry experts.

By fostering dialogue across sectors and disciplines, we aim to strengthen our regional research community and inspire collaborative projects that address some of today’s most urgent societal challenges.
