Secret Agents on a Computer Science Mission
Would you like to learn more about topics such as artificial intelligence, computer science, or programming? Then join us for Girls’ Day 2026. Dive into the world of computer science like a secret agent on a mission.
You’ll explore the exciting world of data science and IT security at BIFOLD, the research institute for artificial intelligence at the Technische Universität Berlin. Several missions await you, where you’ll become active yourself: Find out how to track down data inside a laptop, how to send secret information to your colleagues, and how programming actually works.
In total, you will complete three stations, each lasting about one hour. In between, you’ll have short breaks to relax and talk with our researchers about how research works at a university, even without secret agents.
The day is kicked off by an official welcome at 08:45 am in the main building of Technische Universität Berlin, Straße des 17. Juni 135, 10623 Berlin.
At 09:45 am, you will be picked up there and accompanied to BIFOLD, Franklinstr.28/29, 10587 Berlin (about a 7-minute walk), where the actual exploring will start.
Recommendes Grade level: Grades 7–9.
To participate in this program, you must be at least 12 years old.
