Cross-lingual Information Extraction for the Assessment and Prevention of Adverse Drug Reactions
The goal of this project is the development of advanced methods for the detection of adverse drug reactions across languages. Based on results from earlier work, it focuses on identifying erroneous and false medical information in patient fora. Moreover, methods for anonymizing sensitive user-generated data are investigated for further use in research. The project further examines cross-cultural and cross-lingual aspects of patient reports concerning adverse drug reactions.
