Empowering Software-driven Innovation – Think Integration Bigger

Dr. Stefan Sigg, born 1965 in Germany, has been a member of the Executive Board of Software AG since April 2017 and is responsible for the entire product portfolio, including Global Support, Cloud Operations and Research & Development.
Dr. Sigg studied mathematics and physics at the University of Bonn and received his PhD in 1994. After his studies, he started his professional career in product development at SAP in 1995. Following various management positions, he headed the development of SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA and SAP Analytics. Since 2014, Dr. Sigg holds a teching assignment at the Technical University of Darmstadt and teaches the topics Analytics and Big Data technologies and IoT.
He is a member of  the Supervisory Board of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Board of Trustees of the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology and the Supervisory Board of Fischer Information Technology AG.
