The Art of Entanglement - 2nd BIFOLD Artist in Residnece Program

The first BIFOLD Residency in 2023, "Corals," with Italian artist Marco Barotti, was a great success. In total, over 2000 visitors seized the opportunity to learn about the interplay between AI and art during the exhibition at UNIversum, while also gaining insights into BIFOLD's research approach. Building on this success and experience, we are excited to announce the 2nd Residency. This time, BIFOLD joins forces with the Schering Stiftung in Berlin as a knowledgeable partner. During the colloquium, the Schering Stiftung will explain the joint concept and demonstrate the opportunities available for scientists and artists to actively participate in the project. Additionally, BIFOLD researchers Dr. Oliver Eberle and Christopher Anders will offer a glimpse into their experiences and learnings as well as their joy while cooperating with Marco Barotti.
Interested in exploring the intersection of art and AI and gaining fresh perspectives on your own research? Participation in the interdisciplinary exchange offers a unique chance to liberate your research from the confines of a small laptop screen and make your topic tangible, visible, and audible. Included in the package is simultaneously an invaluable and precious experience in the field of science communication.
